Are political lieutenants of a key figure giving up on him as the country approaches 2027 polls? Well, Corridors understands that the troops are losing hope of their political kingpin, who has reportedly failed to make an impact in the political scene. Sources say the man, who was initially seen as the potential challenger, to the powers that be in the next polls, has suddenly stopped all the planned activities. He no longer meets his troops or listens to them. They now don’t understand what the politician is up to. They've now decided to remain quiet and watch from a distance.

Were there plans by high-ranking state operatives to infiltrate and disrupt an elaborate event that was being staged for a politico? Well, Corridors got wind that state machinery was reportedly unleashed to ‘blend in’ with the crowd of enthusiastic supporters expected at the security-tight venue with the aim to spark chaos and paint the politico in bad light and justify a crackdown on him. The politico, who has seen some resurgence of popularity, especially amongst the youth, got wind of the plan and abandoned the whole idea leaving the state operatives with an egg on their face.

Word is reaching Corridors of Power that the sector’s top gun is allegedly ruling his team with an iron fist. It is alleged that the big boss never takes advice, including on matters that are squarely within the ambit of the professionals he is working with. Sharp divisions played out in a recent saga and over multi-million shilling deals. The professionals are reportedly grumbling and want the top gun apprised on why he should listen to them.

When it rains, it pours. A legislator from Mt Kenya region seems to have lost favour even with his close allies as the jostling for 2027 gets underway. The MP’s top officials in his NG-CDF committee are now reportedly working to popularise an aspirant for the seat, organising meetings across the constituency. Over the Easter holiday, two of the officials were allegedly seen with the aspirant at a joint, and were overheard planning activities in various churches, mainly harambees. They were overheard allocating the amounts the potential Mheshimiwa would donate to the churches, and where he wouldn’t make it as well as the proxies who would represent him.
