Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was among the key dignitaries present as the daughter of Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka wedded the love of her life in Naivasha, Nakuru County, on Saturday.
Damarie Saada Kalonzo tied the knot with Martin Nyaga in an exquisite ceremony graced by their family members and close political allies of the Former Vice President.
In a statement after the wedding, Kalonzo expressed gratitude to Uhuru for standing with the family.
"I thank Former President Uhuru Kenyatta for his friendship and solidarity with my family by attending the wedding ceremony of our daughter Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga this afternoon in Naivasha," Kalonzo said.
DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Governors Wavinya Ndeti (Machakos), Julius Malombe (Kitui) and former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu were also present.
"I had the honour of witnessing the union in holy matrimony of Damarie Saada Kalonzo and Martin Nyaga. I wish the new couple marital bliss," Ndeti said.
