Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary nominee Rebecca Miano has revealed that her net worth is Sh444,000,000.
Speaking on Saturday when she appeared before the Committee on Appointments at the Parliament, Miano said she revalued her existing assets.
During her last vetting in September 2022, the nominee was worth Sh397,000,000
"I have not increased the assets but what I have done is to revalue modestly the properties taking into account the appreciation," she said.
She served as the Trade Cabinet Secretary from October 2023, to July 11, 2024, when President William Ruto dismissed his former Cabinet.
She previously held that of the EAC, ASALs & Regional Development.
She had earlier been nominated to take up the position of the Attorney General.
