Final Journey: Njambi Koikai burial service programme

Family and friends will on Friday gather for the burial service of late Reggae MC Njambi Koikai.

Koikai died on June 3, 2024, and is set to be laid to rest on Friday.

Her funeral service is expected to take place on Friday at Lang'ata Cemetery, Nairobi.

According to the programme, the funeral service is to commence at 8 am.

Larry Osego and Daniel Githenji Mwangi (Mbusii) will be the emcees during the service.

The funeral service is to start with the arrival at Lee Funeral Home.

Prayers, viewing and procession to Lang'ata Cemetery are expected to happen between 8 am to 1o am.

Upon arrival at Langata Cemetery,  the service will be led by Nairobi Chapel Rev. Ken  Aringo and Pastor Simon Karanja alias WaMary.

During the session, there will be a word of prayer, family photographs, and speeches from family members, colleagues and special guests.

After a word of prayer and opening hymn, Pastor WaMary will read the first scripture.

There will be a third hymn which will come after the eulogy which will finalise with a sermon and prayer for the family by Rev. Arin.

The Procession to the burial site will commence at noon and burial rites and recitals will be conducted by Rev. Aringo and Pastor  WaMary.

After another hymn, a benediction will take place led by Nairobi Chapel followed by a vote of thanks and announcements.

This will mark the end of the funeral service.
