Ex-MCA Lucy Chomba buried in Eldoret week after she died in her house

A postmortem on her body revealed that she died due to lack of Oxygen.

Former prominent Eldoret MCA the late Lucy Chomba was laid to rest on Friday, a week after she was found dead in her house.

She was buried at Kamkunji cemetery after a funeral service held at Huruma grounds.

Chomba served as MCA for Huruma until she lost in the 2022 August elections.

A postmortem on her body revealed that she died due to lack of Oxygen.

The three MPs urged Kenyans to support President Willliam Ruto’s economic recovery plan.

Sudi said by the end of this year, the Kenya Kwanza economic recovery plan would be felt by Kenyans.

‘We are already 75 per cent successful and by the end of this year things will be different," Sudi said.

He castigated leaders who are bend on introducing politics based on tribalism in the country.

Sudi said the Kikuyu community should reject efforts to whip them into identifying themselves as Mt Kenya group yet they live in all parts of the country.

"Kikuyus should stop this thing of calling themselves Mt Kenya groups yet they are national and found in all corners of the country,' the Kapsaret MP said.

The lawmaker said politics of tribe was not of any benefit to Kenyans.

He eulogised Chomba as a woman who had outstanding leadership qualities.

Wainaina also assured Kenyans that despite resistance to increases taxation, the money collected was for the good of Kenyans.

"We will pass the Finance Bill in Parliament because we know it has provisions that would benefit Kenyans," Wainaina said.
