The National Police Service has recovered four guns after a raid at a home in Lodwar village of Kabachi Location, Mutuati Subcounty, Meru county.
Police recovered two G3 rifles, a Mini Beretta, a Carbine AK47, 22 rounds of ammunition and other crude weapons.
According to NPS, the Office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is probing the incident.
Police said an operation is underway to arrest the suspect who escaped during the raid.
"The National Police Service would like to thank members of the public who made this intelligence-led operation a success," NPS said.
