Kenya has over the years witnessed a fair share of airplane crashes that have claimed the lives of several prominent people in government.
Privately-owned choppers and those owned by Police and the military have been involved in some of the aircrash tragedies, often times evoking emotional reactions.
Notable victims of the crashes include CDF Ogolla (2024), former Internal Security Minister George Saitoti and his assitant Orwa Ojode.
Others are former Roads minister Kipkalya Kones and former Sotik MP Lorna Laboso (2008).
