Seven Kenyan universities have been named among the top 100 in Africa, in a survey by EduRank.
The universities were the University of Nairobi at position 8, followed by Kenyatta University (38), JKUAT (53), Strathmore University (68), Moi University (73), Mount Kenya University (81), Egerton University (83).
"Top 100 universities in Africa ranked by EduRank based on research outputs, non-academic prominence, and alumni influence," EduRank said.
Locally, the University of Nairobi maintained its top position followed by Kenyatta University, JKUAT, Strathmore University and Mount Kenya University.
