Kenya Power has announced that six counties are set to experience power interruptions on Thursday.
Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Homa Bay, Kirinyaga and Nyeri.
According to Kenya Power, the interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day.
Nairobi
The areas to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Kasarani PCEA Church, Njeri Apartments, PGM Prestige Court, Legacy Apartments, Eldorado Apartments, Camp David CITAM Church and adjacent customers.
Other areas include parts of General Mathenge Road, Parts of Peponi Road, Pepoi Gardens, Parts of Ring Road, Eldama Ravine Road, Parklands Mosque, Parts of 2nd and 3rd Parklands, Suswa Road, Ngao Road, Parts of Mutati Road, Parts of 4th Parklands, Golden Towers, Eldama Court and adjacent customers.
Kiambu
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Ndula, Delmonte Camp, Kilimambogo TTC, Magogoni, Kiboko Farm, Kenchic, Makutano, Jawabu Quarry, Helena Quarry, Rubiru, Fourteen Falls, Kenchic, Dimken Farm, Duka Moja, Ngoliba, NYS, Kyeleni, Zambani, Donyo Sabuk, KWS, Valem Quarry, Rubiru, Macvast, Kwa Jimmy, Kabaa, Chui Rapids, Kahonoki, Nginyi Pumps and Twin River East.
Uasin Gishu
The areas to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Mwithiriria, Eldorock Primary, Munyaka Market, Munyaka Stage and adjacent customers.
Homa Bay
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The areas include Kosele, Nyaligosi, Duga, Kiwiro, Namba Saye, Namba Rael, Karabok Junction, Nyatwere, Waradho, Kachien and adjacent customers.
Kirinyaga
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The areas are Mururi Market, Kianjiru Market, Gacatha Market, Part of Kutus Town, Governor’s Office, Kwa Kibera, Achievers School, Mutungara, Abel Nyamu, Chinise Site, Daraja ya Mungu, Kutus and adjacent customers.
Nyeri
The areas to experience power interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm include Gathunguri TBC, Waihara Ciaraini TBC, Thokoni TBC, Kigumo TBC, Karega TBC, Kabebero Market, Kihuri Market, Kihuri Water Works, Githimbai Market, Kiandemi TBC and Kiriti TBC.
