The delivery of the bus marks the realization of a dream that began 12 years ago.

The school principal expressed gratitude, recounting the initial attempt to acquire a bus over a decade ago.

“This is a great day for us. 12 years ago, the patron ordered for a bus to be bought for a school in the larger constituency...actually, a bus was bought and it was supposed to be for Raila educational centre,” said the school principal.

“But, then we did not have classrooms, we had brought down the building that hosted the secondary school and we declined the bus and that is the bus that Olympic School has today,” he added.

Education officials from the su county also attended the event.

Raila is expected to address the residents later after the event.
