Kenya Power has announced that six counties are set to experience power interruptions on Thursday.
The Power company said the interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day.
Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nyeri, Mombasa, Kilifi and Taita Taveta.
Nairobi
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They included United Nations, US Embassy, United Nations Avenue, Whispers Avenue, Gigiri Water Works, Village Market, Warwick Center, United Nations Crescent, Gigiri Dr Eaton Place, Village Road, Gigiri Close, ICRAF, KTTC, Gigiri Box Park, Gigiri Rd, Embassy of Turkey, Embassy of Tunisia, Embassy, Part of Limuru Road, Iraq Embassy, Serenity Spa Gigiri, International Organisation for Migration, KCB Gigiri, Karura Forest, Part of Muthaiga Road, Muthaiga Mini Market, Karura Avenue and adjacent customers.
Elgeyo Marakwet
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Kapsowar Town, AIC Kapsowar Hospital, Kapsowar DCs Office, Kapsowar Girls, Kapchesewes and adjacent customers.
Nyeri
The outage will be from 9.o0 am to 5.00 pm.
Areas to have power interruptions include Tetu Girls, Kiriti Secondary School, Upper Gachuiro, Rosewood Academy, Kigogoini Market, Wandumbi Secondary School, Huhoini Girls, Kirurumi Market, Gaithuri Village, Kina Tbc, Aberdare Gate Kiandongoro, Gathaithi Secondary School, Gatumbiro Market and adjacent customers.
Mombasa
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Coast General Sub County Hospital, PN Mashru, St. Elizabeth School, Jambo Hotel Chaani, Migadini, Port Reitz Hospital, SGR Line 2, Rubis Petrol Station and adjacent customers.
Kilifi
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The areas include Northcoast Beach Hotel, Whispering Palms, Gurdum Villah, Xanadu Beach Villahs, Royal Reserve Hotel, Ahadi Beach Villahs, Salama Beach, Mwend Wa Panya, Kanamai Timboni, Barani, Barani Dispensary, Safi Sana Ltd, Barani Four Farm, Barani Primary School, Kwa Mutua, Kwa Kariuki, Toto Dogo, Kwa Mwamweni and Kwa Mwavitswa.
Other areas in Kilifi include Mavueni, Dsitsoni, Chasimba, New Life Ministries, Mwarakaya, Jaribuni and adjacent customers.
Taita Taveta
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Bachuma Gate and Livestock, Miasenyi, Wangala, Misharinyi and adjacent customers.
