Ruto to participate in World Governments Summit, Dubai

The President will deliver his speech between 10:30 and 10:40 am on Tuesday.

President William Ruto is expected to participate in the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai.

He has been invited to deliver a 10-minute address on Government Acceleration and Transformation at the 1.0 Plenary Hall.

The speech is set to take place between 10:30 and 10:40 am on Tuesday, February 13.

This year’s summit, themed “Shaping Future Governments,” brings together various governments, international organizers, and leaders to discuss innovative solutions for future challenges, fostering international cooperation.

The Summit, which began on Sunday, February 11, featured an opening session led by Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, and Fahad AlTurki, Director General Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund.

Mohamed AlHussaini, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, also participated in the opening session.

The official start on Monday included opening remarks by Mohammad AlGergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, UAE, and Chairman of the World Governments Summit, focusing on the Government Acceleration and Transformation theme.

Rwandan President Paul Kagame, who had previously traveled to Qatar, is also scheduled to address the Summit on Monday.
