A 55-year-old man has died by suicide in Rongai.
The man's body was found dangling on a tree at Kandisi River.
Police said the body had no physical wounds.
It was reported that the man might have used a cable wire.
Police however said no suicide note was recovered from the scene.
After taking pictures and processing the scene, the body of the deceased was taken to the mortuary at Ongata Rongai Level IV Hospital to await an autopsy.
Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
This is the latest death by suicide incident.
On Wednesday tragedy struck Mogoroka village in Nyamira county after a Form One student died by suicide.
The body of the 20-year-old student at the Bobaracho Secondary was found hanging on a rope in his house on January 15.
The family cited frustrations over the lack of school fees as the cause of the suicide.
