Twinkle Hockey Club has announced the departure of Simon Mwangi, the Chief Executive Officer, after his tenure ended on December 31, 2023.
Twinkle plays in the women's Super League and is fighting for promotion to the Premier League despite being in their debut season.
"Simon has decided to embark on a new chapter in his career, exploring fresh opportunities and challenges beyond his role at Twinkle Hockey Club," a statement from the club read in part.
"During his time as CEO, he made a significant impact, guiding the organization to achieve unprecedented growth and success. Under his leadership, the club experienced remarkable advancements on various fronts, culminating in a period of unprecedented achievements both on and off the field."
Mwangi on his part, expressed his gratitude to the club and its supporters, saying, "It has been an honor and privilege to serve as the CEO of Twinkle Hockey Club. I am immensely proud of the accomplishments we have attained together as a team and the positive influence we have had on the local hockey community."

The process of selecting a new CEO is underway as the club remains committed to finding a candidate who will continue to drive the club's mission forward and uphold its core values.
