Is an MP from the Western part of the country overestimating his political weight? The man, who has rebelled against the party that sponsored him, recently bragged to journalists in Parliament how he is so popular "on the ground" that he will soon be taking over the very party he has disowned. He claimed to be the only leader who has aligned with the government but who was not heckled when a key figure considered unpopular in his region visited. He went further to claim that with his endorsement of the powers that be in the current regime, in 2027 he will be kingmaker, paving the way for his own run for a top seat.
