Fire has explored at a godown in Athi River Machakos County.
Witnesses said the fire which started at around 6pm Tuesday consumed the godown before spreading to others nearby.
A canter that had been parked inside the godown was also consumed by the fire.
Fire engines from G4S company, Mavoko and Machakos subcounties arrived at the scene to help put out the fire.
Officers from Athi River police station have secured the scene as various traders move their goods and products from the warehouses to save them from being consumed by the razing inferno.
The fire started at godown number 8 before it spread to others.
However, most of the other godowns not affected by the fire have manufacturing activities operating uninterrupted.
