Members of a parliamentary committee recently shocked journalists and parliamentary staff with their habit. The lawmakers, some ranking members, allegedly followed a CS to a banking hall for handouts. The MPs, who had grilled the CS over some policies being introduced by his ministry, had initially followed him to the parking lot. But the CS had apparently told them that he did not have cash, and pleaded with them to wait as he moved to the bank to withdraw some cash. But the lawmakers supposedly said they were willing to escort him to the nearest bank – which they did. Later, they walked out of the bank with smiles written all over their faces.
