In a statement, Nairobi Hospital Chief Executive Officer James Nyamongo appealed to the Hospital fraternity for calm as they get to terms with the sad development.

"Unconfirmed reports that we have at the moment hold that Eric's lifeless body was found in his house by neighbours this morning at around 6 am," he said.

"Eric was a very dedicated member of staff who gave his best to the success of The Nairobi Hospital. Let us all keep his family in our prayers as they go through this trying moment."
