Form two Kajiado girl who went missing last week found

The doctors examined her and established that she was in good health.

A form two student who went missing on Tuesday last week has been found.

Daisy Sopiato was tracked to the Saba Saba area of Malindi near the BusCar area by the detectives.

Sopiato’s mother, Elizabeth Ntosho, travelled to Malindi on Tuesday night to connect with the DCI before was found.

After the DCI officers secured the Rem Girls Secondary School student, she was taken to Malindi County Referral Hospital for examination.

“The doctors examined her and found out that she was in good health,” said her mother on the phone from Malindi.

Ntosho said that after her daughter disappeared, she was forced to go to her school in the Kimuka area of the Kajiado West sub-county.

“At the school, I was shown some of my daughter’s friends who gave me two names of people who Daisy called every other day using one of the teacher’s phones,” she said.

Ntosho said after getting the phone numbers, she was able to trace her daughter to Malindi.

One of the DCI officers told the Star on the phone that they were investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Ntosho said she was travelling to Nairobi after she was handed her daughter.
