Former Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando wa Kabando now says that it is time Azimio leader Raila Odinga comes clean on whether he met President William Ruto or not.
In a statement on Monday, Kabando said Raila needs to tell his people the truth on whether he has personally met Ruto.
He said what they do not want to come up with is another form of the failed Building Bridges Initiative (BBI)
"Dear Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga: Now, in the 2022 Presidential Election, you & we know why and how, we, regrettably, lost to Rais Ruto. You say you haven't met Ruto yet. Ruto's office PS says you met Ruto at night secretly in Mombasa. You owe us the truth. We don't want another BBI fraud," Kabando said.
He was reacting to a video where Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo is reportedly questioning why Raila was punishing leaders from the community for working with Ruto's government.
The PS in his remarks alleged that this was happening even as some leaders from the Nyanza region were allowed to work with Ruto.
He went on to claim that Migori, Kisumu and Siaya governors were among those leaders allowed to work with the Head of State.
In the video seen by the Star, Omollo alleges that Raila also met President Ruto in Mombasa.
Ruto and Raila have never publicly admitted to having any form of meeting.
I will leave the sentiments of interior PS @ray_omollo here. Good morning Fellow Kenyans. pic.twitter.com/s3SrXyLFXu
