Launch of business expo: Malala to address the media

UDA secretary general Cleophas Malala, State Department of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development PS Susan Mang'eni and other MPs will address the media at the launch of a business expo for youth at the Hustler's Centre.

The party has moved to financially empower lobbyists that campaigned for President William Ruto in Nairobi ahead of the August 9, 2022 elections.

Malalah said that some 20 groups will receive funds to start businesses.

MPs have launched investigations into claims Teachers Service Commission no longer gives out money to cater for funeral expenses when teachers or their dependents are bereaved.

Emuhaya MP Omboko Milemba claimed funeral expenses are no longer paid to teachers or their dependents after bereavement under the new medical scheme with AON Minet.

AON Minet was once again mandated to provide medical insurance cover to over 318,000 teachers and their dependants under TSC.

The Ministry of Health in collaboration with the World Health Organization will launch the Health Facility Census at Afya House grounds.

MoH said the facility will enhance service delivery countrywide.
