A purée (or mash) is cooked food, usually vegetables, fruits or legumes, that has been ground, pressed, blended or sieved to the consistency of a creamy paste or liquid.
It can be served with arrow roots, cassava, ugali, and sweet potatoes.
To make delicious Magira for your lunch you need the following ingredients.
Ingredients
- Groundnut flour
- Water
- Half a cup of milk
- Salt
Preparation
Step 1
Boil the water for about five minutes. Then pour the Groundnut flour while stirring.
Step 2
Stir the mixture continuously, add a pinch of salt then stir it to mix well.
Step 3
Add milk to the groundnut puree and stir well, then leave it for some to boil.
Step 4
When ready serve it in a bowl and enjoy it while still hot.
