Tanzanian singer Zuchu has called out con men using her name to solicit money from people.
Zuchu warned her followers that a con man has been extorting money from people through WhatsApp.
"Be serious, this is not my mobile number. This is a conman who is conning people through Whatsapp. Kindly be smart enough to understand I work under a management and I don't do deals by myself,"she wrote.
She insisted that her followers needed to be careful as her management is the only one that signs all her deals.
"Be careful guys, like I said, I don't do my work carelessly, I have a management and those who have my number know it, I will not talk about this again.
"You all know my official social media pages, so when you get conned, you're just dumb."
