Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga now says that President William Ruto has become a heartless tyrant.
Speaking on Tuesday, Raila labelled Ruto a "dictator who he said must be tamed.
"It has also become clear that we are dealing with a dictator. Ruto has become a heartless tyrant and we are determined to have this situation corrected," he said.
The former Prime Minister also announced that Friday's Kamukunji meeting is still on.
He added that meetings of a similar nature will also be held across the country to launch the third liberation.
"We are here to announce that Our Kamukunji meeting is on in Nairobi this Friday as we had announced. It is not just Kamukunji in Nairobi but a Kamukunji across the country where this third liberation will be launched," Raila said.
During the meetings, he said, a signature collection exercise to signify a rejection of Ruto's policies will be commissioned.
"That day, July 7, 2023, among other activities, we will launch a signature collection to signify our rejection of the illegitimate Kenya Kwanza regime and their policies, especially the punitive taxes."
Raila said food, fare and fuel have all gone up and they can't keep quiet and suffer in silence.
