The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has announced that it will open its portal tomorrow June 16, 2023.

This is after the portal closed on June 7, 2023.

Candidates have until June 27, 2023, to apply for placement or revise courses in various institutions.

In a Twitter post, KUCCPS noted that 2022 KCSE candidates who have not secured a course are invited to log in and apply again, starting tomorrow.

“This is also a chance for those who would like to apply for the first time,” the post reads.

Students who had applied earlier and failed to secure any courses that they had chosen, will have to apply again.

However, those who have been placed in a course provisionally need not reapply.

To know if one has been placed, they will receive an SMS notification after application.

“The message will also be posted on their portal tomorrow,” KUCCPS noted.

Students only had three weeks to apply for courses in various institutions through the portal that opened on May 17, 2023.

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu asked the placement commission to immediately open the portal for students to start applying.

"KUCCPS has conformed to all conditions including publishing fees details of all programmes," Machogu said.

He noted that KUCCPS will place all qualified students in the various programmes.
