President William Ruto's Jubilee allies are on the verge of kicking out former President Uhuru Kenyatta and his team from the helm of the former ruling party.
The ouster would be a double victory for Ruto, coming just under a year after defeating Uhuru's presidential candidate, Raila Odinga in one of Kenya's most bruising presidential polls.
Months before the 2022 election, Uhuru kicked Ruto and his allies from Jubilee, a party they jointly crafted in 2017.
It has emerged that while Uhuru was hosting Jubilee delegates at the Ngong Racecourse on Monday, Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu had sanctioned the expulsion of two of his most crucial allies.
