President William Ruto on Saturday unveiled a bag of goodies for the residents of Uriri as he wound up his tour of South Nyanza region.
Speaking when he attended Uriri MP Mark Nyamita's thanksgiving , the President said his administration will upgrade the Gogo power at a cost of Sh3 billion.
He said that after the investment, the plan should be able to inject at least 8 megawatts of power to the national grid.
At the same time, the President promised Sh120 million worth of equipment to the Uriri Technical College and gave a further 100 computers.
"We have agreed with the African Development to equip Uriri technical college at Sh120 million," Ruto said.
The President also gave Uriri High School a bus and money to finish the construction of school projects.
He also announced Sh50 million support for Pinyo Wacho health centre as well as Sh10 million for St Mary's Anyora.
