The Kenya National Highways Authority has closed Moyale (A14) road in Buna town area.

This is due to the ongoing rains in Wajir North that have caused flooding waters at Buna town in Laga.

It urged motorists to take note that the flooding waters are eroding murram at the approaches to culverts making it dangerous for them.

The authority said it is working to ensure the area is open.

"Kenha led by the Northeastern region team are on site working round the clock to ensure restoration of transport," it said.
