President William Ruto will be in Nyamira for the second time to commission the construction of Gamba-Kegogi Road.

He will then proceed to Ritacho Primary School in Nyaribari Masaba constituency to grace the homecoming ceremony of Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.

Garissa University attack

The high court will on Friday pass judgment on 3 attackers convicted in the Garissa University terrorist attack.

The 3 were found guilty by the then Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi but appealed to the High court.

Mohammed Abikar, Hassan Edin Hassan and Tanzanian Rashid Charles Mberesero were found guilty of the 2015 attack. 

The attack killed 148 and left 83 people with serial injuries.

Kositany takes over as the new KAA board chair

Outgoing Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) board chairperson Isaac Awuondo has formally exited.

Awuondo, retired President Uhuru Kenyatta’s ally, handed over to the newly appointed chair and ex-Soy MP Caleb Kositany in a brief ceremony held at the KAA offices in Nairobi Wednesday.

The Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee will on Friday launch the programme for the transfer of Devolved functions at the Kenya School of Government Lower Kabate Campus. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is expected to grace the occasion.
