Businesses remained closed with minimal activity in Kisumu’s Kondele and Kibos areas on Monday as residents braced for Raila Odinga's protest calls.
A handful of PSV vehicles were seen at the Kisumu bus terminus.
Some locals stayed away while others took to the streets where they burnt tyres on the roadside.
