ANC, Ford Kenya and Maendeleo Chap Chap officials from the region asked Malala to focus his energies on UDA and keep off the affairs of other parties.
The officials who spoke in Eldoret were led by ANC Uasin Gishu branch CEO Gregory Lwangu.
Other party representatives included Kibet Rotich and Jeremiah Rop.
Lwangu said Malala's proposal was a non-issue and only served to portray him as "overexcited" about his new role in UDA.
"We have no problem with him serving UDA but let him not imagine that ANC, Ford Kenya and others are parties to joke with," he said.
Lwangu said it has taken many years to build ANC and Ford Kenya through the efforts of Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula, and the parties have well cemented structures and decision-making organs.
"Malala cannot therefore wake up and start making roadside decisions concerning parties where he is not even a member. Let him shut up with such proposals," he said.
Rotich and Rop said all parties in Kenya Kwanza must operate independently and be strengthened as part of building democracy in the country.
They accused Malala of being used by some individuals to undermine ANC, Ford Kenya and other parties ahead of the next general election.
"Malala should know that ANC has capacity and will lead this country after the expiry of President William Ruto's term," Lwangu said.
He said Malala is free to recruit members for UDA just as ANC and other parties are doing.
Rop said should there arise common issues among Kenya Kwanza affiliated parties, then the same parties would use existing structures to make decisions.
Lwangu said at the moment, President Ruto should be supported to implement his economic recovery plan.
"We have issues to do with famine, high cost of living and insecurity in parts of the country and they are of great priority but not petty issues like merging parties," he said.
Party officials said President Ruto and UDA chiefs should advise Malala to work with other secretary generals from other parties to strengthen Kenya Kwanza as a coalition instead of seeking to undermine affiliate parties.
Lwangu said other parties in Kenya Kwanza will soon meet in Nairobi to declare their commitment to work as an alliance and support Ruto to deliver on his mandate.
