Owalo's Ministry ranked best performing in Ruto's 100 days

It was closely followed by the Ministry of Roads and Transport at 50 per cent.

Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy has been ranked the best-performing ministry in the first 100 days of the Kenya Kwanza regime.

In a new survey by Infotrak, the Eliud Owalo-led ministry led by 54 per cent for its overall performance.

It was closely followed by the Ministry of Roads and Transport at  50 per cent.

Aden Duale’s ministry of Defence comes in third with 49 per cent, followed by the Ministry of Tourism which was ranked at 48 per cent.

The poll had a +/- 2.1 margin of error.

The survey was conducted between February 21 to February 24 where 2,149 respondents were across 8 regions across the 47 counties.

On the bottom is Njuguna Ndung'u ministry of National treasury which was ranked at  35 percent.

It tied with Davis Chirchir led the ministry of energy and petroleum.

Ministry of Water followed by 40 percent and  Simon Chelugui led the ministry of labour at 41 percent.

In its June 8, 2022 survey, Infotrak said Azimio leader Raila Odinga would win the August 9 presidential race with 9.3 million votes while President William Ruto, then the DP, would amass 8.4 million votes.

Ruto, however, won with 7.1 million votes against Raila’s 6.9 million.
