Passaris pays tribute to Tiktoker Baba Mona, cautions road users

Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris has sent a message of condolence to the family and friends of popular Tik Toker Baba Mona.

The content creator, whose real name is May Kevin Oselu, died on Friday night following an accident along the Londiani-Muhoroni road.

Oselu was traveling with his daughter and two sisters who also died in the crash.

Passaris noted that Oselu's content will be missed. 

"My heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Baba Mona. His content will be deeply missed," she said in a tweet.

The leader reminded road users to be careful and to stay vigilant while driving. 

"As we mourn his untimely demise, let's remember to exercise caution while driving by staying alert, slowing down, and avoiding distractions behind the wheel."

The vehicle carrying Baba Mona was reportedly speeding before it veered off the road, hit a pillar, rolled and landed in a ditch.

He will be remembered for creating content mostly in Luo which resonated well with young people.

In his most viewed video, Mona and his father are seen singing and dancing to a Luo song.
