Belgut MP Nelson Koech has said Azimio leader Raila Odinga's end game is to share power with President William Ruto.

According to the legislator, Raila is using the same tactics he has used in all elections he has lost.

Koech said the former Prime minister has no interest in the development of the country, except for his personal interests.

"We know the endgame of all these shenanigans. The end game is to share power. Handshake. It is the selfish simple interest of an individual who is perpetually thirsty of power," he said on Citizen TV.

The UDA allied MP added that Ruto will stick to his word and will not have a political truce with the opposition leader.

"This is a movie that I know the end of the story... it's the same script. But I will tell you from the voice of William Ruto, not an inch of this government will Raila Odinga get," he said.

Koech further accused the ODM leader of wanting to breed anarchy, instead of lobbying for development for his people.

"President Ruto launched a lot of infrastructure in Siaya but Raila doesn’t want that because he wants to breed anarchy and insurgency," he said.

The legislator was reacting to the Kamukunji rally where Raila said he does not recognise William Ruto as President.

Raila said they have data that shows they won the August 9 presidential election.

He then called for the resignation of the Kenya Kwanza government.

"We do not recognise the Kenya Kwanza administration as a legitimate government and Ruto as the president or any official in his government," Raila said.

In a hard-hitting statement, Raila also called on Kenyans to reject the promises made by the government saying it is resorting to despondency.

"We are asking Kenyans to resist the punitive taxes on common products by this regime," he said.

Raila further said a forensic audit of the IEBC results must be undertaken and that it is unnegotiable.
