Opposition leader Raila Odinga's chief agent in the August 9 presidential election Saitabao Ole Kanchory has alleged that three Azimio leaders cost them victory.

In an NTV documentary set to be aired on Sunday, December 11, dubbed How Raila Lost, Kanchory explains a section of leaders who were at the heart of Raila's campaign secretariat bottled Azimio's open chance to clinch the presidency.

"We could not have lost these elections if not for three people, Junet Mohammed, Joe Mucheru, and Makau Mutua," Kanchory said.

It is in that documentary that  Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Jubilee SG Jeremiah Kioni and Kanchory will open up on intrigues that made Raila lose narrowly to President William Ruto.

A snippet of the production further shows Babu Owino revealing how he tried to persuade ex-Interior PS Karanja Kibicho to arrest the IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati.

"I told him, the way things are moving we need to act very fast. Do you know what Kibicho told me, Babu Wacha vita," Owino told NTV.

The lawmaker went ahead questioning the loyalty of Kibicho and his role in the August polls.

"Nikasema what is happening na huyu mtu, was he part of this? This man was supposed to be our person but what is happening?" he said.

Owino divulged that he had asked Kibicho to let the embattled IEBC Vice Chair Juliana Cherera be the one to declare Raila as the winner.

"Nikamwambia no it is you to arrest Chebukati, or we go for a rerun. Nikasema yenyewe this was a fake deep state," he added.

Kanchory took to his Twitter on Saturday morning saying the revelation is part of his book that will speak boldly on what led to Azimio losing the election.
