A man accused of indecently touching the breasts of a 14-year-old girl after allegedly inviting her to his workplace and buying her Sh30 chips has been charged in court.

Erick Omondi Ogolla was charged before Kibera chief magistrate Ann Mwangi.

Ogolla denied the charges.

He is accused of committing the offence on unknown dates in November at Bombolulu within Kibera.

According to the court papers, PQ was cornered by her aunt after it was realised she had developed some bad habits and upon interrogations, she linked the accused person to the said offence.

The aunt reported what the girl had said to her mother.

The mother forced her to reveal where the accused person was, leading to his arrest.

The accused person said he was innocent and pleaded for lenient bond terms.

The prosecution did not object to his release on bond.

The magistrate released him on Sh200,000 bond without a cash bail.

She directed that the accused person be supplied with witness statements and all the documentary evidence that the prosecution intended to rely on.
