On top of the Twitter trends on Monday, December 5, the name Onyango kept Kenyans talking.

This has sparked questions among a section of Kenyans why the name, which is common in the Luo community topped the trending chart.

The mother is seen, removing her sweater, and asking her daughter when she left the home.

"Utanipiga leo, ama tunaenda na wewe kwa shule, ama uhame kwa hii nyumba," the mother said.

This is loosely translated to: "You will have to beat me up today or we are going to your school or you'll leave this house".

After all the drama, the mother called the brother, Onyango, to come to confirm when his sister left the house.

Onyango innocently replied by saying: "Alitoka hapa kesho", meaning, "She left the house yesterday".

The video has since excited netizens.
