She said Kenya has become a playground for the Western countries especially the United States.

She further said her bid to be approved as a member of the EALA committee is fuelled by her wishes to unite the young people of Kenya.

Winnie said the education system in the country is ill-equipped to prepare them for today's world.

"Our education system is 30 years in the past. It worries me that even in 15 years, what will our young people be doing when the world has developed even further," she said.

Winnie reiterated that she wants to lift up the young Kenyans and Africans at large.

"The state of young Kenyans, East Africans and Africans is in dire strains, and I want to begin and to lift some of those people up," she said.
