CBC taskforce starts public engagement in 10 counties

The education review team has started engaging the public for the next two weeks.

The 49-member team will start its engagement in ten counties on Monday from 8 am to 4 pm.

The team led by Raphael Munavu has spread out to different parts of the country.

On Tuesday they will visit Kwale, Taita Taveta, Marsabit, Nyandarua, Turkana, Kericho, Busia, Migori, Mandera and Samburu counties.

In the ten counties, there are specific places where the public can find the team members and engage them.

"Kwale High, CDF Hall Mwatate, Moi Girls Marsabit, Myandarua High, Lodwar Boys, Kericho Teachers College, Lwanya Special School, Migori TC, Mandera Secondary and St Irene Secondary," a notice reads.

On Thursday, the team will collect public views in Mombasa, Makueni, Nyeri, Elgeyo Marakwet, Bungoma, Nyamira and Homa Bay.

"Coast Girls, Makueni Boys, Nyeri High, Tambach TC, St Teresa Sio, Sironga Girls and Homa Bay High," the notice reads.

The last day of the week, Friday, will only have three counties, that is Isiolo, Wajir and Laikipia.

"The venues are Isiolo Girls, Wajir High and CDF Hall Nanyuki," the notice reads.

According to another gazette notice, the public can drop their views at the party’s office at Absa Towers, Loita Street on the 10th floor in Nairobi.

“The submissions should be addressed to the chairperson and hand-delivered to the working party offices," the notice reads.

The notice signed by the task force chairperson Raphael Munavu further clarifies that the deadline for submission is November 18.

For electronic submission of views, they should be sent to [email protected].

"The views should be submitted by way of memoranda, letters, or research papers and should address the following areas," the notice reads.
