Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that the Kenya Kwanza government has no problem with Kalonzo Musyoka.
While responding to Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti who had requested that they reach out to Kalonzo Musyoka, Gachagua said that they have been waiting for the Wiper leader to come on board.
He added that the only issue at hand is that they don't understand him.
"Governor Wavinya Ndeti, we have no problem with Kalonzo, we are waiting for him. It is you who will decide what you want with him because we don't understand him.
"We looked for him, asked him to join us but he went back to Raila Odinga. Even the day he was ashamed being subjected to the running mate interview it is us who defended him. We don't know why he is confused," the DP said.
He spoke in Kitui on Sunday as he attended a church service alongside President William Ruto.
Gachagua added that if Kalonzo cannot lead the Ukambani region into government, then the region's governors should team up and lead the community.
The President who spoke after also vowed to to work with all leaders irrespective of their political affiliation to better the lives of Kenyans.
