The Cabinet secretary nominee for Public Service, Gender Aisha Jumwa  has said she will restrain herself from verbal altercations if approved to serve in the docket. 

The former Malindi MP made the assurance on Tuesday while appearing before the National Assembly Committee on Appointments at County Hall, Nairobi. 

"I want to tell my brother that I have learnt since my name was mentioned by President William Ruto, I tried to learn some few things from the ministry and I learnt some terminologies that I want to share with you that I will carry when I'm given the opportunity," she said.

Jumwa was responding to a question on previous incidences where she was involved in public altercations. 

She told the vetting panel that she has learnt her lesson and will henceforth abandon her abrasive personality as she is willing to become a better person.

"I think that was then, going forward I will be behaving like a CS for Public Service and Gender.

Jumwa went on to share the terminologies that she has learnt over time which included dignified silence, high level of tolerance and restraint.
