President William Ruto on Tuesday unveiled his Cabinet.
The list contained seven women and 15 men.
Former Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa was among those appointed to the Cabinet after she was handed Public Service and Gender CS post.
Kandara MP Alice Wahome will have to vacate her seat following her appointment as Water, Sanitation and Irrigation CS.
East African Community CS was handed to Rebecca Miano with Rosalinda Soipan Tuya being named Environment and Forestry CS .
Tourism and Wildlife CS post was handed to Penninah Malonza.
Florence Bore has been appointed the Labour CS while Susan Wafula was named Health CS.
Further, Ruto appointed Monica Juma as the National Security adviser and Mercy Wanjau as the secretary to the cabinet.
Harriet Chiggai was appointed as the Women Rights Agency Advisor.
Speaking during the Kenya Kwanza women charter conference in June, the President had promised to allocate 11 slots of the cabinet to women, which translates to 50 percent.
This was among seven of the pledges he made to women, if elected.
He pledged that his administration would implement the two-thirds gender rule within the first three months in office.
