The sister of Brahim Saaudun, the Moroccan man who's just been freed after spending three months in the custody of pro-Russian forces in Ukraine, has been speaking of her joy at his release.
"This is the happiest day in my life," Iman Saaudun told BBC News Arabic.
"I told my mother, and I watched her face turn from extreme sorrow to joy that no-one can imagine.
"The last time I heard from my brother was months ago, just before he got arrested. I haven't heard anything from him since then."
He was freed on Wednesday along with 215 Ukrainian soldiers, five Britons, two Americans and nationals of Sweden and Croatia.
In a deal brokered by Saudi Arabia, they were exchanged for 55 Russian soldiers, as well as the pro-Kremlin Ukrainian politician and oligarch Victor Medvechuk, who was facing charges of treason.
Speaking from her home in Finland, Ms Saaudun also denied reports that her brother had taken up Ukrainian nationality.
