President Uhuru Kenyatta received gifts on Friday during his farewell organized by Kenya Defence Forces.

The gifts included Friesian cows, a lion sculpture, Boer goats, Dorper sheep, Asian cow, Sahiwal cows and a Golf set.

The gifts were presented to him in form of pictures.

It was a sign of appreciation from the Kenyan army for his leadership as the Commander In Chief of the Defence Forces.

Uhuru was accompanied by the first lady Margret Kenyatta.

Among those who gifted him were the Cabinet Secretary for Defence Eugene Wamalwa, retired generals and leaders of the different groups of the Kenya Army.

The Kenya Defence Forces accorded Uhuru the last hurrah as a sign of honour.

Officers from the Kenya army, Kenya airforce and Kenya Navy matched to give their last respects to the Commander in Chief.

The farewell parade was led by the Chief of Defence Forces, General Robert Kariuki Kibochi, among other officers.
