Garsen MP Ali Wario re-elected on ODM ticket

Garsen MP Ali Wario Guyo has retained his seat on an Orange Democratic Movement party ticket.

Wario also broke the one-term jinx that has bedevilled his predecessors.

Garsen Returning Officer Khadija Mohamed declared him the winner with 12,825 votes against his closest competitor Ahmed Bashora of Wiper Party who got 7,646 votes.

Garsen constituency has 55,453 voters in six wards with 140 polling stations.

The six wards include; Kipini East, Kipini West Garsen South, Garsen North, Garsen Central and Garsen West.
