The Kenya Police is investigating an incident where a female NYS Officer has claimed she was sexually assaulted by a police officer.
The suspect is a police officer serving at Matisi Police Station in Trans Nzoia County but had been deployed at Wanyila polling station during the time of the incident.
According to the police, the incident is said to have happened while the officer was on duty at Wanyila Primary Poling station where he was posted to oversee the electoral process.
According to the victim's report, the officer harassed her sexually.
"He kissed and touched me inappropriately," she reported.
The police are investigating the matter.
