Supporters of Mlango Kubwa MCA UDA candidate Susan Makungu have thronged Mathare constituency tallying center at St. Teresa's Primary school over alleged rigging.

Trouble started when one of Makungu's agents claimed that two ballot boxes from the ward had been opened to allow stuffing just outside the tallying center.

''It is suspicious for a poling officer to unseal boxes in absence of agents. Here are the seals we have confiscated," one of Makungu's agent told the Star.

The commotion which lasted about 10 minutes saw the tallying process stopped as the police moved in to restore order.

No one was hurt during the melee.
