Kenya doesn't belong to a few. Today we're witnessing history. Freedom is coming! DP William Ruto has said.

"The people of Kenya will prevail and we will have a nation that will not leave anyone behind," he said.

He was speaking in Nyayo stadium as he made his final submissions to Kenyans on Saturday.

Ruto said Kenyans should not be afraid adding that there is a God in heaven.

"The will of God will prevail, the deep state will not stop us. This will be the culmination that Kenyans are supreme. On Tuesday they will witness the power of God," he said.

He committed to bring down the cost of living saying they have a plan.

"Today we are witnessing history. They said we will not be here in 2022 but here we are," he said.

"They said we will not be in the ballot but we are in the ballot. I want to tell the people of Kenya that we will overcome. Enough is enough and freedom is coming."

Earlier, Ruto said life has never been bad in our country as it is today.

"Kenyans have received a terrible beating as we cannot afford to put food on the table," he said.

Ruto said they have reached a point where small businesses have closed shop because cost of living has become terrible.

"For the farmer you are walking on productive land that is not cultivated. It is no longer and no wonder we have an Ugali sosa crisis," he said.

"We are all victims of economic system gone rogue on us. But do not worry. It is time to have the courage to say no to anything that threatens our civility."
