Ruto courts Laikipia, Nakuru as Raila woos Mombasa and Kilifi

Azimio and Kenya Kwanza have intensified campaigns in their final round of vote hunting.

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto will on Friday take his campaigns to Laikipia, Nakuru and Nyandarua counties.

His campaign trail will start at Nanyuki in Laikipia East constituency before heading to Nyahururu in Laikipia West.

He will then head to Nakuru Town East constituency before proceeding to Ol Kalou and later on at Engineer in Kinangop constituency, where hsi tour will end.

Ruto had on Thursday taken his campaigns to Makueni and Mombasa counties.

Azimio One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga, will be taking his campaigns to the Coast.

He will start off in Lamu before heading to Kilifi and Mombasa county's Tononoka grounds where he will hold a mega rally.

Raila will be accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua and other leaders allied to the coalition.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance and Kenya Kwanza have intensified campaigns in their final round of vote hunting as they only have today and tomorrow to hold the campaigns.

The 2022 general election has been touted as the most competitive with a lot at stake for the two leading presidential contenders.

Raila is making his fifth, and probably, last attempt at becoming Kenya’s commander-in-chief while the DP is on his maiden attempt to occupy State House, failure to which he will be secluded in the opposition at least for the next five years.

Kenya goes to the ballot to choose their next president, and other leaders on August 9, 2022.
