DP William Ruto and I have good chemistry, we will not disagree if we win, his running mate  Rigathi Gachagua has said.

Gachagua who was speaking during the deputy presidential debate on Tuesday said their focus will be to serve Kenyans.

“Both Ruto and I are strong-willed leaders who respect each other and none of us suffer from an inferiority complex,” he said.

“We have no time to quarrel or disagree, we have no time for sideshows because we are focused on serving Kenyans.”

Gachagua was responding to the animosity between Ruto and president Uhuru Kenyatta.

He said that the differences between Uhuru and his deputy are not ideological.

Gachagua said that what came in between the two leaders was that someone was suffering from a superiority complex.

"The differences between William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta are not ideological because some people suffer from a superiority complex," he said during the deputy presidential debate.

He added that Uhuru should have at least accommodated the DP in his second term because for the smooth running of the government.
